My Yahoo 360

Hey there, Today is February 9th of 2007, I am coming up on the one year aniversary of this site. There have not been as many blog and statements added for a while there. just a little over a month ago I finally found my password to continue to add to these pages. Well here I am still in cheyenne wyoming, and still drug and alchohol free since December 23rd of 2005. My probation officer will argue that but can't prove they claimed that I fail a drug test for Meth last June and tried to put me in a rehab, but when I challenged there decision things changed, part of the change to not send me is that I was still under doctors care for a broken back that occured at the end of May when I was a back seat passenger in a local taxi, that lost control of the vehicle and hit a very large tree. the other reason was because I requested that the drug test be retested by another company that is not associated with the State Of Wyoming. They did not want to do that even if I was going to pay for it. And as for the alchohol, in October while working and living in a motel here in town, probation came to visit and I showed them the room of the previous employee, and he left some beer in the room that they are trying to say was mine. And in december, while doing a visit to my house, They brought a drug dog in because probation found 2 oxicotins that I had remaining from the accident that where no longer in the original bottle. during the trashing of my apartment, they found 3 bottle of bud light buried deep in a duffle bag full of hats that has been packed up for at least 6 months. That beer was in my possession. Still doesn't mean I was drinking. And even if I was drinking. I am 35 years old and never convicted of an alchohol related offence. Or drug related as far as that goes. I did do 30 days in jail for failing drug tests over a year ago. but never convicted of anything related to drugs or alchohol... So here where are February 2007, Still waiting for a response from the insurance company that is handling the case for the taxi company. they have until the 15th, before my attorney starts making threats of law suits against them and the taxi company owner.
My name is Keven Kuzara. I live in Cheyenne Wyoming. I have in the past suffered from drug addictions. "Meth and Cocaine" I may never be cured of this horrible disease. But with help of good friends and family support I can control it. I have not been in treatment, just jail for a bit but i have been drug free since Dec, 23rd 2005. Not very long. I have decide to do my own web page and blogs to share my experiences and others experiences with the world, bad or good. I will keep myself drug free by keeping my mind occupied with positive activities. Please join with me to help curb the drug abuse in our communities.

No Sleep For Days

Again, I am Keven Kuzara of Cheyenne Wyoming. My goal is to help others of all ages to come to reality of the negative affects of drug abuse (including alchohol). Here in Wyoming for many years now Meth use has steadily increased. Two new treatment centers were funded by the Wyoming Meth Initiative that started several years ago. One in Sheridan Wyo, and the other in Rock Springs Wyo. There are two other major centers in Wyoming, one in Casper and the other right here in Cheyenne. The initiative was designed to give addicts an opportunity to seek treatment before being incarcerated in our already overcrowded jails and prison. However in my research I have found that these treatment centers are mostly at capacity already, which means long waits for bed to become available. Wyoming is the 9th largest state in area, and 50th in population.  Our state cannot afford to keep opening new centers for treatment, which is causing even more crowding in our jails.  What I want to see accomplished is that the citizens of this state to more efforts in there daily life to help educate our children to keep them from starting drug use. that is just a start.  I want you "the addict" to want to help your future and the future of our children to live in a safer place. I guess I am asking for a miracle.  Meth in this community alone has become such a problem that you can just about get it for free. "THAT IS REALLY SAD" I know this to be true,
My goal for the rest of the year is to try to make and impact on my community and other  communities in wyoming or where ever i am able to contribute.  Several years ago the state of Wyoming started a program called the "Wyoming Meth Initiative" The basics of the programs is to educate our citizens about the the abuse of "Meth" in our state. also the programs was designed to help addicts get the help they really need instead of clogging up our jails and prisons with addicts. since the start of the program there has been two new rehabilitation centers started in the state. One in Sheridan Wyo, and the other in Rock Springs Wyo.  Still from what i see in my research the state is still overwhelmed by this problem of meth abuse in our communities. I agree that meth is a problem and putting addicts in jail is not solving our problem.  We need to rehabilitate these addict into our comminity and teach them about the damage that drugs have caused or communities. however with the overcrowding of these treatment centers and the long waits to get into one. It leave our police force no choice but to jail addicts until beds become available. So my goal is to get citizens involved with there neighbors and friend and help them with this horrible problem. It would not surprise me at all if almost every resident in this state knew one person, personally that has or is still involved with meth. That is where denial of the problem must come to an end. Let's stop going to jail for drug abuse. and just stop the abuse. If you are an addict and you have your opinion, please let me know. I am not a law enforcement officer, as a matter of fact i am a convicted felon currently on the ISP program with Wyo D.O.C. probation and parole in Laramie County Wyoming. Though not convicted of any drug charges, I am a former addict, not just meth, but cocaine and pain medications also. i recently did a 30 day sanction in the county jail for failing several drug test.  I quit so can you, tell me your story. Good or bad, about you, someone you love that abuses, or just a friend. there are success stories to be told, and there are bad stories to be told. I would love to here them all.
My goal is to reach out to addicts and teach them about the harm that drugs do not only to themselve, but to those that love them and care about them. And the affect that drugs have on our communities, specific target is Laramie County Wyoming and the rest of the state. Plus communities in the Northern Colorado Area in which have a great inpact on us here in South Eastern Wyoming, Cheyenne, Burns, Pines Bluff, Albin, Laramie, Wheatland and many other smaller communities in between.  God Bless.
